Maltese Cross Dominoes Game Rules
- Maltese Cross is a 2 to 4 players dominoes game played with double-six domino set.
- Each player gets certain tiles at the beginning of each round.
- The player who gets highest double starts the round with that double. Rest of the players take turn clockwise. If no player gets a double, then tiles are collected and re-dealt.
- The first domino is a spinner and players need to play a tile on all four sides of it before any further move can be made. This is the first phase of the play.
- If a player can not make a move, he/she draws one tile from the boenyard. if this tile can be played, it must be played. It not, then player simply passes the turn to next player.
- Once a tile has been placed on all four ends of the starting double, then second phase starts in which a double must be played on each of the four arms.
- No other tile can be played until a double has been placed on each of the four arms.
- In second phase also players must draw if they can not play a tile.
- Once second phase finishes, normal play starts and game continues like a Block game. In normal phase players simply pass the turn if they can not play a tile and don't draw a tile from the boneyard.
- First player playing all his/her tiles wins the round. If the game is blocked then player with the lowest pips count in his/her hand wins.
- If two playes end up with the same score at the end of a round, no player gets any point.
