Blind Hughie Dominoes Game Rules
- Blind Hughie is played using double-6 dominoes set by 2 to 4 players.
- Each player is dealt 7 tiles each in two-players game, and 5 tiles each in a 3 or 4 players game. Remaining tiles are set aside and are not used in the game.
- The first player is randomly decided. The lead is passed clockwise in subsequent rounds.
- All tiles are dealt face-down and aligned in a row by each player. The player turns one tile face-up from right side of his row and places it to any of the two matching ends if possible. Lead player starts by placing first tile to the center.
- The player continues to turn tiles from right side of his row and play to the matching end as long as possible. If playing is not possible then that tile is turned face-down and moved to the left of the row and turn is passed to the next player who plays in a similar way.
- If a double is turned up, and moved to the left of the row, it is kept face-up. This double is available for play anytime on player's turn.
- The round ends if a player has played all of his/her tiles. Round can also end if the game is blocked which means no tile can be played by any player.
- Winner of the round is the player who played all his/her tiles, or the player with the lowest score.
- Player scores the total pip count of all other players' tiles minus pip count of his/her own tiles (if the game was blocked). If two players get similar score then there is no winner for the round and no point is scored by any player.
- The game is played for multiple rounds and the first player to score 100 points wins.
