Abacus Dominoes Rules
- Abacus is a modern two-player dominoes games invented by Andy Lewicki which is played with double-6 dominoes set.
- Both players are dealt 7 tiles each. Remaining tiles are set aside and not used in the current round.
- First player is selected randomly in the first round. Players alternate first turn in subsequent rounds.
- Game is played like standard Block Dominoes. Players alternate turn to play a tile to matching ends. If no matching tile ia available, then turn is passed to the opponent.
- There is no spinner in the game.
- The round ends if a player has played all of his/her tiles. Round can also end if the game is blocked which means no tile can be played by any player.
- The last player to play a tile is winner of the round who wins two tiles from either end of the layout. The winning tiles are kept by the winner and not used in further rounds.
- The game is played for 7 rounds and the player with most pips count on his/her winning tiles wins the game.
